The question is on negativity in the campaign.

McCain blames the negativity on Obama not accepting the extensive town halls that McCain proposed early in the summer.

Obama says the McCain campaign’s ads have been “100 percent” negative.. Shifts to saying he can stand to be attacked for the next three weeks, but people can’t stand 4 more years of Bush policies.
