Sharon, wake up and smell the coffee! This is a political cartoon, not a religious one. Like many before you, you mislable any criticism of Israel as anti-semitism. Not all inhabitants of Israel are Jewish, much to the chagrin of the Zionists. The snake’s label is “Israel”, not “Jews”. Furthermore, if you had any legitimate education (not the processed B.S. you are fed by the media) of the atrocities committed by Israel against Palestine ever since Israel’s inception, you would not be so defensive about such a cartoon. Do you expect an illegally occupied (see UN Resolution 242) country that suffers daily terrorist attacks on its women and children to stay mute? I believe Israel is that state that is building an apartheid wall in Gaza and the West Bank. I believe Israel commits countless crimes against humanity each year, like this one listed in the 2004 Amnesty International report: “Raghda Adnan al-Assar and Ghadeer Jaber Mukhaymar, aged 10 and nine, were shot dead by Israeli soldiers while sitting at their desks in UN schools in Khan Yunis refugee camp.” Why shouldn’t Palestine criticize Israel for such actions? It is Israel that is enforcing manditory curfews on the Palestinians. Israel is seizing Palestinian land to increase their illegal settlements every day. Thousands of Palestinians are being held and tortured in Israeli dungeons. Palestians have to go through checkpoints that turn what would normally be a 10 minute trip into 2 hours. Is it fair for a Palestinian woman to give birth at a checkpoint like this, and subsequently have her newborn die at that very same checkpoint because trigger-happy, Israeli teenagers with machine guns want to make life unneccissarily difficult for Palestinians? Your understanding of foreign policy is extremely warped. Some advice- don’t publish your opinion about a topic if you are severly unknowledgeable about it, especially when it borders on being racist itself, because clearly you think Palestinians are subhuman and the principle of self-determination doesn’t apply to them. Get a clue!
