I snagged an interview with Nate Bourne, College ‘10, co-founder of Kuloco Clothing. His idea of creating a clothing company rooted in where you live, not how you live, is taking off. I first heard about Kuloco when I noticed quite a few of my friends had joined the group “Kuloco Clothing” on Facebook. I checked it out and saw almost 1,000 members in the group. I read the description of the clothing company and realized that it’s hot.
Anyway, check it out:

Actually, I think it is a great idea. It may not be everyone’s taste, and if it is not your taste then why bother complaining about something that has nothing to do with you? Not everyone will look exactly the same… unlike what you see around Penn. Have some faith!!!

these clothes should do fine. i have purchased one or two and the idea for the clothing line is very interesting. The cool thing is there are sweat shirts, hats and hoodies not just an ordinary clothing line that just makes t shirts… The cloth is soft and the designs are unique this idea could really take off

Exactly how many people even identify themselves with Ocean City? I don’t exactly think of it as a big market. Maybe it’s because I’m not a local, but I’m not even sure what it means to dress like a person from Ocean City.

I think the concept is very interesting too… It kind of reminds me of Free People yet it’s made by the locals. In time, it will become a very interesting clothing line, not just limited to the style of Ocean City.
