I would like to wish all you fall-breakers a belated welcome back to midterm season! I hope you used the weekend to catch up on all your studies, because I sure didn’t.
Instead, I was busy losing my Renaissance Fair V-Card by attending the Maryland Renaissance Festival (don’t judge), in Crownsville, Maryland! Ye faire, started in 1977, takes place in the “16th century English village” named “Revel Grove”, located on “a beautiful 25-acre wooded site” in the outskirts of Annapolis. The event runs every weekend this year from August 23 to October 19 (rain or shine), so you still have one more chance to check it out, if you so desire.
I knew the moment I stepped onto the grounds, and was greeted by the most depressed-looking teenager in a ridiculous Renaissance costume handing out programs, that this fair would be a good time.
